The fact is that Judaism was founded on being against idols and if you look around people, we are in India, which is wall to wall idols.

Not only in the old testament or whatever, what do I know, Jewish texts, they keep complaining about idols, they give them self tsuris and chastisement every time some calamity happens, or war happens, they say, aha, it is becoz we did not rid ourselves of idols enough.

Lemme tell ya, this is ridiculous, calamaties and war happen becoz of the human condition, not becoz of idols.

Christianity has plenty of idols, even those sects that do not have statues or Mother Mary, the cross itself is idolatry.

There are people who even get worked up at little scraps of Torah scripture being kept in books or in the teffillin, becoz they say it is idolatry.

Muslims are famously against idolatry and even depictions of human body, let alone their prophet, who BTW married umpteen times, including the last time to a 6 year old girl, and consummated the marriage when she was 8, and it was in this umpteenth under age marriage, that the father in law decided he was the next successor prophet and they began a fight with the descendants from the first marriage, which was Fatima and the kids. So that is how the Sunni (from the father in law from the underage girl marriage) and the Shia (from Fatima and the kids) rivalry began.

And if Farrkhan wanta talk hair raising, he could maybe have a huge exposition on that.

But never mind that, this ranting against idolatry is also a sign of Oliver Cromwell, who had a big fight over it, not comprehending that his Church the Church of England was born becoz a previous king had umpteen wives and wanted to divorce and off them, and the Popes in Rome wouldnt let them. But Oliver Cromwell was another one always ranting about idols.

And there was a big thing with a born again White Christian guy in the US Military who started bawling about Muslims that their God is an idol. This made me astonished, becoz one thing we already established is all the Abrahamic faiths have a huge issue with idols.

The idol people are us, the Asians, the Indians, Cambodians, Balinese, Buddhists etc. We are the ones with the huge idols, little idols, millions of idols in our temples, huge big idols in our caves, out of rocks, in the mountains, and little bitty idols all over our homes, to whom we talk, pray, feed, adore, play music, dress up and feed and all the rest of it.

So we would like a little respect for our love of our own idols. We do not want people dissing them, blowing them up or trying to take them away.

If you dont like idols, fine. We like our idols and we would like to keep them.

Also the Buddhas in the mountains have been there for thousands of years, long before the Muslims got there and now the Muslims tried to blow them up. Ditto in Kashmir and Bali and all over India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan and Far East, us people was there long before and this new religion shows up and thinks it is the boss.

So this is the part of the Abrahamic religions I object to and I would like some respect and tolerance for our side.

Furthermore, the Kaaba is a jewish stone and people see no problem in saying prayers to it and worship it, so you worship your stone, we will worship ours, OK, that's perfectly fair and if Reverend Wright, Farrakhan and Barry Obama are so disposed, I would like to find out their detailed views on the issue, also a variety of rabbis and padres and mullahs, that would be fine too.

So lemme tell ya, there is nothing normal about calling Zionism a gutter religion.

First of all, it is not a religion and second of all, what has gutter got to do about it.

I think this is the part that has a hilarious side effect and the fact that Wright and Farrakhan are being repudiated may be a shock in the middle east where dissing Zionism, which they pronounce with a hissing on the Z, is a long professed time pass.

in the middle east, they simply loathe Zionism and think everyone in the world loathes it too. To their shock, even though they might pretend that Barry Obama is just a politician wiggling out becoz of Jews, they can't shake off that the Zionism is a gutter religion clip did not cause widespread hallelujah's in the country.

And let's not fool ourselves, that's not becoz people are not disapproving of Isreal, oh, they are. There is white people and black people who are very disapproving of Isreal, it is just that unlike the middle east, most people of both races in America, do believe Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state and this is the big difference between America and the middle east.

But never mind that, even though it must have shocked the middle east, the point is that Zionism is not a religion, and I dont want to get into whether Carter and Tutu said that, or it is the same thing or what not.

the point is Zionists believe in the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish state and if ya wanna call it gutter, then establishing a home state for Jordan for the Palestinians is also a gutter, Liberia which was established for liberated African American slaves is a gutter, Bangladesh is a gutter, Balochis want a gutter and Pakistan is a gutter. Also Chechnyans wanting a separate Chechnya is a gutter and Kosovo is a gutter.

so that is the part about Zionism, all the lefties think all the other movements where certain people want a separate state is just hunky dory, but only Jews wanting a little bitty slice of land is a gutter.

And speaking of Kosovo, I dont hear Reverend Wright or anybody else complaining that White Christian Serbs got done out of their homeland. That fat ass Marti Haari or whatever his Finnish name is and his American and UK buddies pushed through the independence of Kosovo, which they had decided all along, but which they somehow neglected to tell us.

I also dont hear Reverend Wright bawling for the Sindhis who lost their homeland or Punjabis or Bengalis becoz Pakistan and Bangladesh wanted separate lands and threw out all the Hindus and Sikhs.

And dont tell me there are a couple dozen still around, that dont count. We have millions of Muslims here, how many millions of Hindus you got.

Yeah, so this whole gutter thing somehow becomes very selective and I notice Wright did not repudiate that, and just repudiating stuff without giving details is a way easy out for Barry and I would like some clarification.

The Farrakhan Zionism Clip and Reverend Wright at the Press Club

So I read a few of the reports on Reverend Wright and especially to search for the now notorious episode at the Press Club, where reportedly he went nuts during the question answer session.

Luckily, in his Wiki profile, I found reference No. 48 linking to the NYT transcript.

I also found his military record and how Wright was at Bethesda and took care of President Johnson and all of that, and this man and his family have a long history with the country, I dont think we can just blow him off.

Also he has a constituency and not just like Ross Perot for one election season, he has been maintaining a church constituency for over 20 years and if he had been an outright loon, we might have heard of him sooner.

Barry on the hand, sounds like a typical politician, all wriggling and expediency.

We thought he was all charisma and rhetoric and when the going got tough, he is trying to wriggle out.

so anyways, I am looking for the Press Club transcript and as far as I can see, there is a lot that is transcendent, there is some that is angry, but a lot of people white and black and asian are angry, angry is no reason to lose your nerve, angry means something is wrong and maybe somethings need to be corrected.

But there is one point where Wright looks like he is getting agitated and worked up, and interesting thing is that it wasnt even the Moderator who brought it up, it was Wright himself and it was the Z word for Zionism.

Also I would like to say, I would like to find out who is the Moderator, but maybe I didnt look hard enough. Also the moderator made it a point to let audiences know that the applause was not necessarily from what he/she referred to as the working press but guests or somebody, presumably Wright supporters.

Wright also made humorous and ironic references to that mention, but that is an aside.

The interesting thing is how the Z word came to be mentioned and it is not pretty, so if you can't stand un pretty, better stop reading now.

This is one of the items I would like Barry Obama and the legions on his side to please comment in detail.

So the moderator asks about Farrakhan and this is what Reverend Wright has to say:

And this is the interesting part, where it looks like Wright goes a little agitated and worked up and brings up the Z word, and then tries to bring Jimmy Carter, Desmond Tutu et al into it.

Now I did not know that news stations had been broadcasting a certain Farrakhan clip over and over again, but apparently they had and apparently the clip included the Z word, used in a real weirdo way.

Let's see what Wright said: REVEREND WRIGHT: As I said on the Bill Moyers' show, one of our news channels keeps playing a news clip from 20 years ago when Louis said 20 years ago that Zionism, not Judaism, was a gutter religion. And he was talking about the same thing United Nations resolutions say, the same thing now that President Carter is being vilified for, and Bishop Tutu is being vilified for. And everybody wants to paint me as if I'm anti-Semitic because of what Louis Farrakhan said 20 years ago.

So that was what the transcript referred to, Wright said, that Farrakhan had said Zionism is a gutter religion, and Wright believed, that it was referring to ***the same thing*** United Nations Resolutions, the same thing President Carter is being vilified for, and Bishop Tutu is being vilified for. And Wright complained that he is being painted as anti Semitic becoz of what Farrakhan said 20 years ago.

the easy part is saying Repudiate, what exactly is being Repudiated, Barry Obama and Wright

so now the official story especially from Barry Obama supporters is that Reverend Wright is loony.

So now we are supposed to believe that all along Barry has been clinging to this guy, using him as mentor, having him marry him, bless his house, his kids, pray with him before he announces for running for office and now suddenly he is a loon.

What is it exactly we are saying he is looney over.

I would like a step by step, item by item discussion.
Forget about what did Barry know and when did he know it, forget about did he sleep through the sermons.
